Lady Cards Basketball Claims Victory at Homecoming

The Lady Cards varsity basketball team returned to home court for their Homecoming game against the Glenpool Warriors.

The Cards came out in a deadlocked game. There seemed to be a lid over the basket for both teams in the first quarter. Collinsville had several shots, but only Bryn Wilt and Madison O’dell were able to come out with 2pts of their own.

In the 2nd war. Wilt removed the lid for the Cards as she drained shot after shot. With a few fast breaks and a few FGs, Wilt put another 9pts on the board. Wilt also blocked five shots for Glenpool. O’dell had another two-pointer and Makayla Davis completed the first free-throws of the night, giving the Lady Cards a 100% FT average.

The varsity Cardinals began to pull away from Glenpool in the 2nd half. O’dell began to drain three after three. O’dell came away with four threes for the night and also completed two FTs and Bryn Wilt completed four.

The Lady Cards came away with a major victory over Glenpool, with a final score of 45-30. The team held a low amount of fouls and obtained a 100% FT percentage. O’dell finished the night with 20 points and Bryn Wilt finished with 21. A chance for the girls to break away with a series of victories with this momentum.
