On December 1st, the girls basketball team faced the Pryor Tigers. They fought a hard battle. The score went back and forth all game and they went into half-time with the score being tied at 22. Madison O’Dell had a great first half scoring 16 points. O’Dell has been a great leader for the Lady Cards on and off the court, and she ended that night with a total of 20 points.
These girls came out playing hard the second half, they were hustling after every lose ball, and giving it their all. Unfortunately, the girls came up short with a score of 34-40. The Lady Cardinals are limited with their players, due to several recent injuries. Even though they didn’t pull off the win against the Lady Tigers, they learned from their loss and will continue to improve and grow as a team.
