Early this year, senior Tatum Andres was diagnosed with Stage 3 Mature B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphona. A tumor was discovered immediately above her heart and is inoperable. For the next several months, she will undergo chemotherapy treatment at the Children’s Hospital at St. Francis in Tulsa, OK.
The local community has expressed their support and plans to come together to help Tatum and her family. On March 24, CHS is holding a blood drive where the donated blood with go to Tatum, Katie Ellis, and Daniel Malon, three CHS students battling cancer.
Individuals wishing to support Tatum may purchase t-shirts benefitting her medical costs. There are two designs, a lime green and a grey that say “No one fights alone” on the front with Tatum’s name and the business sponsors on the back. Lime green is the recognized awareness color for Non- Hodgkin’s Lymphona. Click the link to download [link for the flyer] to order a t-shirt, or pick one up in the front office. Donations are also accepted. An account is open at the American Bank of Oklahoma which you can make your donation at all three of their branches.
