Marvel, once again, makes yet another brilliant film with supernatural strengths. Dr. Strange is a surgeon who is top of the line in his field, with a steady hand and a perfect record. Having the movie starting out with the cliché of distress, forced to prove his talent. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, he went through an accident that left him crippled to the point where he had to leave his old life behind to go on a great “adventure” to try to fix himself through the power of inner energy. He travels to the Far East, advised from a previous acquaintance, for he had been “healed” of his crippling disability. Steven Strange was extremely skeptical about it all, ignorant and stubborn to learn, being full of himself and his ego. He refused to take in any of the ideas spoken to him, until he was shown the power of art.
The special effects are spot on, making me want to go back and see it another time. The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. The transitions are very well done, keeping you informed throughout the entire cinema. The colors keep you interested, as well as the plot. The amount of power that can be wielded from just energy is insane and makes you want to try it out.
All in all, this movie was really good, and would, 100%, suggest you to go and see it if you haven’t already. It is super exciting and you would definitely want to watch it more than one time. It would probably make more sense the second time around, because that’s how it usually works. Anyways, go to your nearest theatre and give this movie some eye time. You won’t regret it.
