Seth Boomer was honored Tuesday night before taking the court versus Claremore.
Head Coach Todd Anderson and Principal Kiker presented him with an honorary ball to celebrate Boomer’s achievement of scoring 1,200 career points.
Boomer has started all four years.
“(Freshman) year I was hurt, but I eventually worked my way into a starting position as a shooting guard, and I grew every year.”
Boomer’s game, which started as a shooting guard, has evolved into to something much more dynamic. He has kept up his role beyond the three point line, but has also become a presence in the paint averaging 22 points a game this season.
Boomer hopes to continue his scoring success as the regular season comes to a close and the Cardinals head into playoffs.
Collinsville will take on Coweta at home this Friday for the season finale; and then face them again in the Regional matchup on Friday the 24th. If the Cards win, they will advance to the Area Tournament, if they lose, their season is over.
