Band Travels to Union, Crowns Royalty

This entry is part 3 of 10 in the series Collinsville Crimson Cadets

This past weekend the Collinsville Crimson Cadets travelled to yet another contest. This time to Union for the Renegade Review Marching Band Championship hosted by Union’s own Renegade Regiment.

Around 25 bands attended the event. Many of them coming from Missouri and Texas.

Unfortunately the Cadets did not leave Tuttle stadium with a finals placement or class 2A (Bands of America class standards) trophy.

However this was an exciting weekend for the Cadets. Aside from attending a big contest for the first time, they also had the opportunity to show off they’re brand new 2016 band royalty featuring King and Queen; Makenzi Casebeer and Timmy Caputo. These two were riding in style behind the band in this year’s homecoming parade.
